Clash Prologue

Prologue

“It would be wise,” said the deep voice from nearby, this time beside the boy’s ear. “To defeat what you fear most, you must gain my power.” The voice echoed far. The boy didn’t move. He had been listening to this for a long time and had spoken only few words. He never saw anyone speaking to him – he could not even tell whether if the voice belonged to a man or a woman. But one thing was certain: it sounded more beast than human
“What is it I fear?” the boy asked.
Suddenly, laughter burst out – laughter filled with menace. His voice was wild and ghastly, enough to bring fear inside every living creature he knew. A chill shook the poor boy’s spines. The laughter died away in an endless echo trailing off far away from where the boy stood. Silence entered for a moment until the voice spoke one last time. “You fear yourself.”
The boy noticed that he was surrounded by a dark void, but he could see his body as if there was light. The void seemed endless – no sides and edges could be seen. The boy looked down and it seemed as if he wasn’t stepping on anything, but there he was. A fading red line appeared from one side, and it began to stretch far and formed weird patterns across the black plane. A red light appeared before him, and another one beside it. They were eyes that glinted with bright flames more sinister than any thing the boy has ever seen.
Pain shot up inside the boy. He could feel movements inside his body, like his organs were suddenly shifting. From under his skin darkness overtook his limbs and began to swallow his body. The boy struggled but could not break free.
Tears fell from his eyes. He hoped it wasn't real, that all of this was just a dream.

Clash Introduction

This story is a continuation of manuscripts that was written in the past. Everything started in the first manuscript, titled The Flame Between Odema, a series of events that shaped the whole world as it is today, from the Pegon Beroda (World Creation in the Palimean language) to the last war which ended with the chaining of the Dexa Yuulle; the Maga-Riyen Vielemo(War of Scattering Ember in the Palimean language).

889 years have passed since the events of the manuscript, The Guardian Saga, in another continent in the east called Berelim. Since the appearance of the Oma in 1254(seventy years before main story), the people of Berelim have fought many wars to keep their land safe. The roads of the north had been cut and there has been no contact between the other countries since. The people were struck and began to believe that the plot could only have been devised by a new Invader King. 12 years have passed(1266 since the start of the war, and Celia, a city closest to the border of the north continent Grand Kreegos, was sacked by the Oma and many of the Odema(Users of the Dexa powers) have been deployed to face the Oma past Celia but none of them ever returned, therefore calling the land cursed by the Invader King.

Kinslayers
Farmond, a lone survivor in Celia since the attack, tells of his experience with the Oma:
“… until the sky darkened. A shadow loomed over our mother city, and that was where my heart went cold – as if I died where I stood. Our men looked to the skies and warned everyone; the people who saw it were terrified. The dark clouds had ripped open, showing an even darker side behind it. Black beasts, bipedal and wretched looks, were rained on our mother Celia from the sky. They tore the flesh away from my friends and bit the legs off of my family. Our men were alerted and fought back, but it was too late. Everything happened so fast, I couldn’t see how the creatures survived that great fall on the city. My heart is beating fast as I write everything down … I was the last in the city, and then he appeared to me. A black figure stood before me, I could not even see his face or gaze his eyes. Ordered me, he did, to bury all of my brethren, my family, my sons. Then he left instantly like a mist with his wretched kinslayers. It was then I realized who the voice belonged to.”

Author's Notes #001 : Before the Clash Series

Before the story of “Clash” was written I had to face myself – countless of times. Many books are written out of experience so I guess this also tells a story about my experience. Spiritual warfare happens to everyone of us around the world. We either fight for the safety of our spirit or we break it. To tell the truth, whenever I battle against myself, I have never won it alone. I fail everytime I try. Where the voice tells the boy in his dream, “You fear yourself.” This was very real to me. This is where I had to choose my side. What do I truly fear? What should I do?
Faith. Therefore the Clash Series was born.
The story isn’t anymore the numerous battles of the Invader King Abranel against the continent of Berelim. It isn’t anymore the raiding of beasts called Oma on the mountain slopes of Melstrom and Kegos. It is about the battles inside a young boy named Keifer, as he is somehow drawn and become connected with the problems of the world at its worst – the battle of hearts everywhere.

there's no title this time

It's better to say "I don't know" at times than saying words you're sure about. Why? I don't know.
Why not count all the times I mentioned "I don't know"?

I'm going to have to organize my videos. I have like, what - 200 videos? I don't know. I'm planning to take out the lesser "important ones" and leave out the music videos and yeah.
I'm exempted for two of my final exams - Economics and Literature. I don't know, my teacher in Eco(nomics) said that I was the best student she's ever had that's a newbie(a new student I don't know). And I'm a graduating student. My Literature said that I just deserved it. Did he say that? I don't know.
Now will I pass and get high scores on all the exams? I don't know.

Epilogue
Now count all the "I don't knows" that really mattered in this post. Or is it you probably don't care whatsoever - I don't know.

Endure,
    Sam.

Flying Cities and Turtles

Flying cities, one of the most challenging things I have ever conceived in my imaginations. Over time its shape changes and as the mind grows in thought, the design becomes even more complex. Powered by crystals, even maybe fueled by the sun, lightning, air, heat, coal, steam… even blood. The floating cities might not even be man-made, it can also be a huge flying turtle and on its back or inside its shell might a city be built.

Lost Work

Have you ever done any paperwork that required 10+ pages or more and then lost it one day?
I have.
120 and plus pages of words gone. What is it? My latest novel the Medicine-man: Blazing Eyes. All of it, gone.
I'm sharing something that happened early January and only saying it now. I didn't feel anything bad for it because I knew that was going to happen. I didn't want to keep the novel - as in - there were too many ideologies that needed to be taken cared of. Too much thought of killing and deception that it went too far away... far away until only a small part of it remained true to its good nature.
I'm still going to rewrite it but under a different name. Just wait and see till then.

Destined to Fail (that's not how it's gonna be)

"It's true, we are - we are destined to fail"
-Misery Loves Company by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

In my first year in high school, I thought I knew enough about sharing Jesus. With ignorance, I came out alone proclaiming Christ without Christ in me. God tested me with a girl who was obsessed with me (she was like proclaiming her love for me and wanting to be with me all the time) in my first year in high school. And I, who didn't have any experience with crazy girls, began to settle the matter on my own - without Christ in me. I used to tell her what Jesus is trying to say to her that it wasn't right. I feel stupid for telling her all these things because it was not according to God's Word. Years passed by and I realized how foolish I was to know so much about Christ. Who was I to do such? I thought I knew what I was saying - now I realized that I was just annoyed by this girl for liking me too much so I wrote her all those foolish letters.
Because I thought I was better than others, I was destined to fail.
I have come to realize: All things are destined to fail if it's not in sync with God's Will.

"Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of his age, he should become a 'fool' so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: 'He catches the wise in their craftiness'."
-1 Corinthians 3:18-19

Working

Today's Saturday. Remember when I said that I was going to try and reach 1000 per hour? Well, I failed - I ended up doing 1000 for five hours. :( Sucks.
This time I won't give up. I'm gonna go over 9000!!!! I should remember that it's about quantity, not quality. Well, here I go. I'm going to start off at one, so that nothing will distract me.

Your dude,
       -Samuel

Nov. 16th, 2007

samuel

Over 9000!!!

I've been silent today in class. I almost never spoke until I began shouting Terry Bogard fighting quotes. I was content - that was enough speaking for this day.
I've been wondering about writing a thousand words per hour. It seems interesting - Let's Do It!

Working,
       -Samuel
